New Jersey Ponders Premiums; New York Votes on MPCs
The State News column tracks legislative efforts at the state level that are related to dairy. This column discusses the New Jersey Department of Agriculture's hearings this week on milk prices and over-order premiums. Also, the New York Senate Agriculture Committee held a private meeting Tuesday to consider bills that would affect hauling charges for producers and dairy products with milk protein concentrates.
