Milk Procurement Workshop - Nov 2016


IDFA’s Milk Procurement Workshop provides an overview of dairy industry trends, policy and pricing basics, with a focus on understanding milk price regulation, including how farm milk is priced both inside and outside the Federal Milk Marketing Order System.

Milk processors, cheese makers, frozen dessert makers, butter manufacturers, nonfat dry milk manufacturers and other dairy industry professionals are welcome to attend this information-packed workshop at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago O’Hare Airport in Rosemont, Ill.


The course will be taught by IDFA’s Bob Yonkers, Ph.D. who is a nationally recognized milk-pricing expert. He analyzes the economic impacts of marketing conditions, government regulations and alternative policies on U.S. and international dairy for IDFA. He will offer his insight and experience during the workshop on essential topics, including:
