Registration is now open for IDFA's Advocacy Days. Formerly known as Washington Conference, the industry’s popular legislative “fly-in” is scheduled to be held June 17-18 in Washington, D.C. IDFA changed the name this year to emphasize the important role that members play in advocating on Capitol Hill for policies that will enable their companies to prosper, grow and create jobs.
Advocacy Days will be held at The Washington Court Hotel, conveniently located on Capitol Hill and close to many major Washington attractions. The program will include many popular events from the past, including a briefing by IDFA’s top policy experts on pending legislation that will affect dairy processors, and face-to-face meetings with members of Congress and administration officials.

IDFA has added an exciting new opportunity for registrants of this year’s Advocacy Days, June 17-18, 2015 to help them prepare for upcoming meetings on Capitol Hill and enhance their impact. Amy Showalter of The Showalter Group, Inc., will conduct a complimentary pre-fly-in webinar, “How to Survive and Thrive in Your Legislator Meetings,” on Thursday, June 11 from 3:30 to 4:00 p.m. ET. The webinar will provide guidance on the best practices for maximizing effectiveness when meeting with policymakers.
