Average temperature for May is 79-85 degrees during the day and mid to high 60s at night.  Attire for all activities is resort casual.  Jacket and tie are necessary only if you wish to dine at the Seafoam Dining Room at the Inn.

The Beach 

Ponte Vedra’s palm fringed white sandy beach provides the ideal setting for a sunrise jog, shell hunting, a picnic lunch or perfecting your tan.  Beach chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, bicycles, surf and boogie boards are available for rent.

Two 18-hole courses, the Ocean Course and Lagoon Course.  Both courses offer undulating fairways, meandering lagoons, and elevated Bermuda greens that are protected by steep faced bunkers and a prevailing sea breeze.

Seahorse Grille

The Atlantic coastline serves as dramatic backdrop for the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club’s signature restaurant – the Seahorse Grille.  Located high atop the Surf Club and sporting dramatic ocean views, the Seahorse Grille is a delight for those desiring an upscale-but-casual dining and cocktail experience.  The Chef’s culinary styling is New American Fusion which results in bodly inspired flavors and an artfully imaginative menu.  Dining Hours:  Lunch 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Friday through Saturday; Dinner 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. daily; and Late night menu 10:00 – 11:00 p.m. daily.  Reservations are recommended.

Seafoam Dining Room

The Seafoam Dining Room, an oceanfront dining classic for more than a half century, has recently received an elegant makeover resulting in a room aglow in plush, sleek romanticism.  Its intimate size is designed for only 45 dinner guests.  The décor’s dignified grandeur is equaled by a sophisticated menu of European and Continental culinary favorites.  Open for dinner, 6:00 - 10:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday.  For gentlemen, jackets are required and ties encouraged.  Reservations are recommended.

Inn Dining Room

Greeting dawn is certainly more pleasurable with an enjoyable breakfast in the beautifully ornate and historic setting of the Inn Dining Room.  Breakfast Daily, 7:00 – 10:30 a.m.

The Golf Club

Overlooking Ponte Vedra’s blue lagoons and famous par-three “island” golf hole, The Golf Club provides a refreshing change of pace where the atmosphere is casual, colorful and fun.  This picturesque setting is complemented with an appetizing menu of soups, salads, specialty sandwiches and a bountiful buffet for lunch.  The popular and diverse dinner menu features a wonderful selection of steaks, local seafood and daily specials.  Dining hours:  Lunch 11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Daily; Dinner 5:30 – 9:00 p.m.  Dinner reservations are recommended.

The Club Room

The traditional lobby bar, redefined.  Ensconced in dark woodwork, luxurious surroundings of wing chairs and rich fabrics, the new Club room features a bar, billiards table and oversized television.  A great location for an after dinner drink and social conviviality.

The Gourmet Shop

A charming café environment sporting casual bistro tables and chairs.  The popular Starbucks brand of coffee products is featured along with freshly baked muffins, tarts and the Chef’s own homemade ice cream.  A selection of wines and gourmet gifts are also available.  The café also features wireless internet access.  Hours:  7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Daily.

Surf Club Patio

It’s delicious, it’s casual and it’s located outdoors under a canopy of colorful umbrellas.  Experience oceanfront breezes and azure blue skies while enjoying a wide selection of soups, sandwiches, salads and specials.  Lunch Daily – 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. “weather permitting”.

High Tides Bar

Another beachfront lunch option is the High Tides Bar.  Not surprisingly, people watching is the #1 past time at this popular “barefoot and bikini” café.  This popular setting specializes in sandwiches, light snacks and frozen specialty drinks.  Open Daily – 11:00 a.m. – Dusk “weather permitting”.
