USDA to Unveil New Dietary Guidance Icon

First Lady Michelle Obama and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will unveil tomorrow a new icon that will summarize the recommendations of the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans. This icon will replace the MyPyramid symbol currently used by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to illustrate the 2005 Dietary Guidelines.
Interested members can listen to the press conference announcing the new icon at 10:45 a.m. Eastern time at www.usda.gov/live. More details are available here. Following the announcement, I’ll share more information about the new icon.
