Boards & Committees

IDFA and its constituent organizations, the Milk Industry Foundation, the National Cheese Institute, and the International Ice Cream Association, each has its own separate Boards of Directors. Nominations are accepted during the year and elections are held in the fall. Board meetings are held in the winter, spring and fall.

In addition, members are encouraged to participate in association committees and groups and provide their expertise and recommendations on issues vital to the direction and success of the dairy industry. These networking opportunities facilitate the exchange of information and discussion to develop comments, guidelines, studies and other materials. Face-to-face meetings or conference calls are scheduled on an as-needed basis. The process to join most committees is informal. A list of committees and groups is provided below.
