GRAND Pioneer Awards
Honoring Outstanding Grassroots Programs at Member Companies
IDFA's political involvement program, Dairy Counts, annually honors one member company for exceptional grassroots activity through the GrassRoots Action Network for Dairy (GRAND) Pioneer Awards. Previous winners include the Kroger Co., Leprino Foods Company and Smith Dairy Products Co.
Maryland and Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative Association was named the 2009 GRAND Pioneer. More details are available here.
GRAND Pioneer Award recipients are chosen through a formal nomination and judging process. There is no fee to enter, and the awards are presented annually at the fall IDFA boards of directors meetings.
